Some nights in Costa Rica, you find that you need to dress up. And I mean, you need to look the part of the elegant woman who keeps a second or third home in Costa Rica while she gallivants around the grid, taking care of business.

Asymmetrical Elegance

There is no better designer for projecting the image of “woman with means” than Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. While a frock at Baiastice may set you back a few hundred, it will look like you spent much more. I found this chic dress at Sissy’s store on Laguna Arenal and decided to go for sophisticated with edge.

Asymmetrical Elegance

The asymmetrical design of this dress with its combination of the almost futuristic multiply banded sleeve on one side and the wrapped sleeve on the other, the irregular neckline, the huge tilted bow in back almost sound like a design disaster except Sissy wraps it all up in an understated black, draped texture, undercutting the edginess of the decorations.

Asymmetrical Elegance

Basic bangles seemed to work and the asymmetrical hair from Deviant Kitties echoes the design from the dress. Sexy red shoes from Elikapeka Tiramisu pop to match the lipstick of Lorac Farella’s luscious Valeries’ series in Venetian Red.
